Carissa has 10 years of experience working in the Philadelphia School District as an interventionist and program manager. She is dedicated to building transformational relationships both within and beyond the school community and believes in leveraging the strengths of those communities to support student success and achieve educational equity. Additionally, her background as a data analyst in education underscores her commitment to advocating for a holistic, ethical, and data-informed approach to education.

Carissa holds a B.S. in Molecular Biology from the University of Pittsburgh. She is excited about joining Achieve Now to continue supporting and learning alongside young readers.
